Tell us about your design philosophy!

For us, the design profession involves taking responsibility and finding solutions to problems old and new, and of course achieving the vision we had from the outset, despite often meagre resources. We want to participate and have an impact in matters great and small. We often find inspiration in everyday problems, and our ambition is to change things for the better, preferably through circular design.

Tell us about Hybe, which you designed for EFG.

We can see that today’s and definitely tomorrow’s offices and similar meeting places must concentrate on flexibility and dynamics, since the boundaries between the way people meet, collaborate and work are fluid. Our ambition was to create hybrid furniture that solves the above question with a single piece. One challenge was to achieve a level of comfort that was good enough to create a touchpoint that provided a degree of privacy and comfort for laptop-based work, and to make it sufficiently easy on the eye and body without losing any mobility.
